TUCKER S. PLAYER, Founding Member Mr. Player is the founding member of the Player Law Firm. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of South Carolina in 1994 and his Juris Doctor Degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1998. Mr. Player was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 1998 and the Georgia Bar in 2001. After graduation from law school, Mr. Player took a position as the law clerk for the Honorable Judge Diane Schafer Goodstein. After his clerkship, Mr. Player worked for Richard Harpootlian in Columbia, South Carolina. As an associate, he worked primarily on catastrophic and high profile personal injury cases, criminal cases before the state-wide grand jury, and litigation involving the video poker industry. In June of 2000, Mr. Player moved to Augusta, Georgia and took a position as an associate with the law firm of Fulcher, Hagler, Reed, Hanks & Harper, LLP. While at the Fulcher firm, his practice primarily consisted of insurance defense, railroad defense, workers compensation defense and small business litigation. Mr. Player was exclusively responsible for several cases before the United States District Courts in South Carolina and the Southern District of Georgia, the South Carolina Court of Common Pleas, and the Georgia Superior and State Courts. Mr. Player's current practice focuses in the areas of civil litigation, business law, and appeals.
